Amazon doesn't seem be talking to anyone in general, so I thought I should post some updates.

Ncsoft producer announced that, they will have a press conference on Nov. 2nd to tell the public when the official release date will be.

Most speculate that T&L will release in Korea around Christmas 2023, and the global to release sometime in June 2024.

Is this game like Rift? Cause it looks like a Korean version of Rift. I'm not mad at it. The graphics are amazingly modern. The Asians have come a long way with the child like graphics. It's much better. I would actually try to play it. It is structured like a PS2 console game, Elden Ring, New World, and Rift. This should be a very interesting experience. I hope it turns out well.

Lost interest the moment they caved to the crowd.

TL's main unique feature was L2 style combat with stand still to attack and auto farm when you are offline/cooking/working etc, without that it has nothing special.

The press conference starts at 5 pm pst. You can check it out here.

It will probably be in korean, but there are lots of westerners checking it out.

    They will talk about...

    1) Release date

    2) Monetization model

    3) Updates that developers have been working on for the past six months

    4) Content in the release version of the game

They will answer players' questions. In addition, at G-Star 2023, there will be a special area where attending players can win merchandise and in-game gifts.

Cool, thanks for the updates. Will probably have to wait for the articles to come out with translations afterwards.

Here is a look at the new combat. Whatever weapon you carry, is the class you are. Just like in New World.

You can lvl up all weapons in the game. When you do you can macro your weapons, to give you different combos.

At the beginning of the video, it shows what you can do, by macro your weapons.

At the start of the 30 sec mark it shows..

    Knife
    Crossbow
    Great Sword
    Sword/Shield
    LongBow
    Staff
    Wand

Ncsoft posted a dev letter on T&L the other day.

    https://tl.plaync.com/ko-kr/board/producer_letter/view?articleId=654c5940906f2c5f3b5328c6

In it, the devs have listen to the feedback from Amazon games, and from Korean gamers the past few weeks, and are going to make some some changes, based on the feedback.

Still too much P2W in the cash shop.

Based on this feedback, Ncsoft will get rid of the rank system and transformations that Amitois (aka pets) and mounts. Whether they were earned by playing the game or purchased from the cash shop. Also colection books wil now be earned in the game.

Still too much forced PVP in the game.

Based on this feedback, world bosses will now spawn 3 times a day. 2 times they will spawn as PVE only, and one time they will spawn with pvp flaged. That way PVE players can get boss loot as well.

Also the events will spawn between PVP and PVE throughout the day.

Lastly Ncsoft will have another Stream on November 18th. This one will show off dungeons, events, pvp, world bosses and group/raids.

Shocking, but I have been getting DM's from people wanting to know what is going on with this game.

The biggest problem with the game atm, is the fact, the game was rushed to release. There was very little testing, and everything was done in-house. Beacause of this, there are a ton of bugs, and exploits.

Staff is completely bugged. You can't proc or get any crits. So it doesn't do very much damage, and you wear cloth. So at the moment it is a worthless class.

Evasion is bugged. There is litterly no cap in evasion. I've seen dagger users stack evasion, and are unkillable in PVP. Also Dagger users are better tanks in PVE than sword and shield.

AOE is bugged. There is no limit to how many players you can AOE. Nothing is funnier in mass pvp, when a crossbow (CC class) can cc an entire guild. Also CC has no diminising effect in the game.

Game came out in November, it's now March, and Ncsoft still hasn't fixed this.

These days it would be a surprise if any game was polished when it launched to full release. Todays gamer "early adopters" are more like testers than ever before.
