Maybe .. in my case it was the other way around .. first SWG, then EVE. As you dont need to grind in EVE (your train, wether you are offline or online) its nice to play when you feel like it and switch to training only for a week or two if you dont feel like playing .... and you know that your character will STILL be advancing.

Also EVE Online is often chosen as a secondary game by SWG players.
