For the life of me I cannot find a game to play. At all...even mostly interested in.

Current games list (within last year):
- Warframe
- POE
- TFT2 (yay lol)
- D4 (ouch)
- F076 (meh)
- Mad World MMO (meh)
- Party Animals (meh)
- Limbus Company (meh)

Meh. Lol. I'm bored even thinking about trying to find a new game. Lol.

Oops, apparently I can't edit posts now after first putting one up. That should be "even remotely interested in."

Yeah find a different hobby. Try a martial art or learn to play an instrument. Try learning to draw or paint. There's a million different things out there. Find something you enjoy and are passionate about.

I have to actively play three games at once because no one game can scratch that gaming itch. Surprisingly (even to myself) I went back to ESO and it scratches that MMO/RPG/quest/housing/world itch. I also enjoy survival mechanics so I bounce around Conan and Valhiem and such but also love RTS so I keep an Age of Empires type game on my computer.

I am looking forward to Nightingale a lot. Skull and Bones is fascinating but Ubisoft is not my fav company due to their love affair with DLC, microtransctions and just overall unwieldy content,

To edit the cog is on the top right. The very top of the page not where your post is. When you post normally in a thread it is at the top right of the post but when you want to edit a thread you need to look at the very top right of the page itself.

    - Early last year I dropped my last MMORPG, LotRO

    - Shortly after I dropped PC gaming

    - At the end of last year I cut down console gaming by roughly 50%

    - At that same time I spent about 1.5k on solo board games and have been playing them since for about 10-12 hours a week

    - I feel better then ever

A change of scenery can do wonders, we change, our hobbies change. No need to stay stuck in a position that doesn’t make you happy, especially when it is hobbies we are talking about. Back to Final Girl and Too Many Bones it is.

I don't regularly play MMOs much anymore other than log in tasks or seasonal events for a few. Mostly I play single player games these days.

    Solo board games?
I know, I guess its Patience for the solo hoards as they would have to actually interact with someone otherwise. Unconscionable. :)

Seriously, it is easier to find groups online than get them to a venue. TTRPG's groups are going online now as people don't want to meet up for various reasons, real shame.

I also advocate taking a change from gaming, I have taken at least three such breaks myself. Two of about three months and one of about six months, works wonders.

    Solo board games?
Aye, true solo, multi handed campaigns etc. There’s a huge market by now, its been on the rise for slightly over a decade. A good example is the Final Girl series.

As for the solo only choice, I have a busy life, a career, three little kids. Having two hours to myself is a luxury, having two hours to myself and knowing about it in advance so I can get a group together is an impossibility. Also, the big lesson MMORPGS have taught me over the last decade is that multiplayer is overrated.

Basically. A MMORPG that matches perfectly what one desires and contains nothing one dislikes is virtually impossible to find. To play any of them requires the willingness to compromise in some areas.

    So basically my ex.

FYI, that's also the cop-out/excuse FOMO people and completionists use.
