This is gonna be one of the most destructive events in American history. I pray for all that live there and hope they get the hell out of there. Goodbye New Orleans.

New Orleans is 12 feet below sea level so that place is going to turn into one big olympic size pool. Some of those leavy's are bound to overflow. Hurricane is as powerful as an F3 tornado which cant be good either.

I think it's the objective of your past self to make you cringe.

good luck ul need it
Heart!
But on a serious note my prayers go out to all the people caught or are in the way of the storm.
Stay safe guys.
This is a catastrophic event that will hopefully not take many lives. But one thing we all can't escape is the impact that it's going to have on our economy.
1/3 US oil production is there.
I heard there is a possible 100 billion in damages estimated.
This could really shake things up to say the least. Be prepared.

Professor Hubert Farnsworth - That question is less stupid but, you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
Pfff... What an over-hyped storm. They said that New Orleans might be submerged for 6 months. Yeah right CNN, more like 6 hours.
Its the end of the world... as we know it!
BTW good luck to however is threatened by it.
well that one hurricane is most likely going to cause more damage expenses than all the ones we had here in Florida last year
that's due to the fact that we have a lot of oil reserves over there.

Its estimated for the gas here in Cedar Rapids to go up 56 to 97 cents if this does enough damage, the gas is $2.43 atm, so if this increase happens...looks like a car pooling to school.
over-hyped? not only is your attitude making me angry i pity you, at the strongest point of the hurricane ( which of course is out of the eye on the NE side ) their was a reported 195 mph wind gust, and an average of 160-165 mph winds. How can this be over-hyped? The levies of new orleans can with stand 18 ft of water and there is an expected 25-28 ft. Its also reported that New Orleans will be around 10 feet underwater.
Sorry to bust YOUR bubble but your wrong, the pressure inside the dome was less then the pressure outside, so as all you know this would cause massive pressure on the walls and roof, and thus the roof "popped" and now theres a huge hole on the roof. ( but i agree slideing down that would be amazing, but ill stick to parkour)
