Did you know that if you press escape during the after action screen with the stats button the game will most likely crash? I wonder if this has been fixed in the patch.

Rail gun requires level 20 to unlock and a lot of people aren't there yet, so I question it being the most popular. Maybe most popular for people who have unlocked it, but that's probably why it got nerfed. With this game having live GMs pulling the levers behind the scenes I imagine they keep all sorts of near real time statistics on what's being used so they can adjust what they throw at the players.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones not having any disconnects or crashes. I have only 30 or so hours but still lucky

I have gotta say, I'm not fond of the meteor showers. You can't really duck them and very rarely does the game offer any sort of cover you can use against them. I've only run into one of them but it caused 6 player deaths as our squad was trying to run an encrypted hard drive to a location. Seems like that was pretty steep and a real pain when we had to run over to the location where a meteor death caused the drive to be dropped.

Re: Railgun, it was considered one of the, if not THE, main ways to take out bugs, which have infamously annoying armor to take out.

Re: Weather, I've only gotten the extreme cold so far which shortens missions, but I'm frightened to get a meteor shower.

Railguns aren't out, they're still great. Maybe someone on reddit thinks so.

Meteor showers are safer now, but still situational at best. That's the cool thing about this game. Loadouts can be situational to the objective, with some being better for a given task than others.

I like how they added the Mechs content update, and a week earlier than expected too. That's how you add content in a live service game. Everything about this game makes players feel like they have agency in the world and battle. Most games, especially live service games don't do that at all.
