yeah well, that's the elephant in the room. #1 reason people are bored with this game is the boring itemization. It's a mortal sin for an ARPG, which is a game that's all about loot, and then said loot is boring. That's the primary sin committed by Diablo 4. Lots of people say D4 is boring, but they don't say why. This is it. There's no adrenaline hit when that rare item drops that radically changes your whole build because that doesn't happen in this game. It's just a steady slog of +1's on the stuff you already have. That just isn't exciting. It really doesn't matter what other systems and features you put into place if the itemization is boring. I'll be interested in what they have to say because they really need to go back to the drawing board and redesign the whole game around something more akin to what they have in D3. Say what you want about D3, but the one complaint I never heard was the D3 itemization is boring.

Ok, that dude is on his own with that one. That's like capitalist level freaky lol. He sounds like he should be a movie critique with all their issues.
I'm not looking to get "wowza" by a rare item drop. Hell no.

D3s itemization is boring.
There. Now you have.
D3's itemization wasn't the best either, but I take that one any day above D4's horrible itemization!
D3 was actually fun to replay each season. You actually felt you were getting significantly stronger when you started getting those first rare drops. It was actually fun, with the better drops you were getting the further you could push those difficulty Tier's.
You just don't have that feeling with D4 at all. That is the problem. It's also made a hell lot worse due to how the whole level scaling works in D4. Basically killing the joy of the whole RPG part of the ARPG.
They made so many mistakes in D4. It's just not even funny. It's like they don't even play their own game......OH WAIT! We know they don't. /facepalm

I've dropped uniques in DIV that significantly changed my play of the character. The game could use plently more but it's not as though they don't exist at all.
