I'm not downloading Epic Fail to play this game. Maybe if they wise up and put it back on Steam.

I think the game client can still be downloaded and played from their website. At least that's how the person I know plays it.

What's wrong with Epic? I prefer Steam myself, but if it allows me to play something I want I'd play it there. I played Star Trek Resurgence on Epic months earlier than its Steam release date.

I have Epic and collect a lot of their free games. I also think a lot of developers put their games there because Epic takes a smaller cut. I really don't see what the problem is with Epic. Red Hook's Darkest Dungeon 2 was there for quite some time before releasing on Steam.

It's a choice a developer makes to take more of the profits from a game they made and honestly Epic is gaining more recognition and it is not that foreign an idea to use the platform to play games.

I have also bought games that were on offer long before they came down in price on Steam. For me as a consumer it is better to have more competition for these platforms.

I never buy anything on Epic and only find a couple of their free games each year are worth getting. As to playing months earlier it is a single player game so why bother? However I did not know it had come out, now on my Steam wishlist thank you very much. :)

They still have their own independent launcher, at least for now. You can purchase the game directly from their site if you really just can't stand Epic that much.
