    Yeah that's scary on several levels. Think about it. Somehow this hacker allegedly remotely uploaded and launched executables to remote users somehow knowing their IP address. Nevermind the anti-cheat. Where was the firewall? What about the antivirus? What about the OS that allowed an unknown external user launch an a malicious executable?

    Only thing that makes sense to me is the hacker somehow got some sort of trojan horse installed in the target machines that would enable that level of access. Or there's something in the game that provides such a hole. Otherwise no e-commerce is safe, and I'm pretty sure that's not the case.

    Also this just further supports my assumption that all these online pvp games are riddled with cheaters. Not like this hacker created bespoke aimbots for the purpose of this fiasco. No he was just uploading hacks that already exist and are likely widely available and in use all the time in typical public matches.
