Just a few days after NetEase revealed they will one again be partnering with Blizzard to bring World of Warcraft back to China, over two million players have already signed up to either recover or reactivate their accounts, or pre-registered in general.

    I was laughing at wow killers in 2005. I'm still laughing in 2024.

    If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

    If these Chinese players all decide to play then that would put WoW at 9.3 million active players.

    Then you have The War Within in a few months which will bring back a bunch of people.

    WoW might just be able to beat its 12 million subscribe peak this year.
