    Starfield was the biggest disappointment of the year, even more-so than Diablo 4.

    The game looked and felt more dated than Fallout 4 does today. It was also a mess of systems that were taken from other games and done much more poorly.

    I don't think there is any way to rescue it, but they can try I guess. I will never touch it again.

    I like Starfield a lot and I'm looking forward to the expansion. I'm glad it isn't coming until fall because I don't have time for it right now.

    I am definitely waiting until modders have had the time to add some flesh to the game.

    It’s certainly a divisive game.

    The fact that there are people who like/love the game means they did something right.

    Not sure if it’s dated but I tend to prefer older games so probably didn’t notice.

    I did return it simply because I quickly lose interest in science fiction games unless they are 4x games. But my brief stint with it was fine.

    If they use some of those design decisions with the next Elder Scrolls game I’d be fine with it.

    Ooo, a moders kit? Story was bad in Starfield, so much so that I could not play the game for more than an hour.

    I feel like the bones of the game are fine, if moders can put in a Blakes-7 or a Lexx/Red Dwarf/James Corey/Alister Reynolds story in as a campaign replacement, I'm down to play it!
