Riot Games is standing by its decision to add its proprietary Vanguard anti-cheat system to League of Legends with update 14.9, refuting complaints that the change has bricked people's PCs.

Just because Vanguard users in Valorant haven't experienced the same issues, doesn't mean there isn't an issue with Riot's Vanguard anti cheat system. Software can be easily customized for vendors. I will not be playing any Riot games anymore. Good bye for good league of legends. Good riddance.

It's a medical term, silly.

When I started using Oil of Olay, my glitchea cleared right up.

Hasn't Valorant already been using this anticheat for a while now? My suspicion is that any real "bricking" is happening due to those people using cheats. I have a full dev environment on my workstation and I've yet to have an anti-cheat program flag anything.

Given my experience with their awful client for years, I genuinely do not believe anything their technicians say.

Could care less about LoL but I have played other games wehre the anti-cheat was a disaster...One of them the anti cheat would completely reboot my PC at times.
