Anyone hoping to get their hands on the physical copies of console Deluxe Editions of Baldur's Gate 3 will now have to wait a while longer thanks to production issues out of the developer's hands.

    I thought we got rid of needing physical copies of games. I get some people, collectors probably, would want a physical copy (not to open). Other than that, why do they continue this. You still don't own software; you only buy a license to use it.

    Not sure if that's true. I can still run my Morrowind disks as well as my Oblivion Disk.

    And if I still kept my mac classic I would be able to run my Myst Disk. I think, to answer your question, that if one still has a system to run Baldur's Gate III then one can continue to play it indefinitely.
