In a recent interview with Chinese publication Zhihu, FromSoftware's Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed that Elden Ring's upcoming expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, will be the game's "first and last DLC."

    Looking forward to it. One of the best games I've ever played. Even better...no DLC or Season pass in a single player experience. I am completely fine with an expansion/dlc for the game 2 years after it debuts. Especially when the quality is so high.
