Holy crap I think I just OD-ed on corporate doublespeak. Wake me up when they get to the part about their core competencies, bandwidth and blue sky thinking.

Developers who are experts at storytelling... Ok that line gets some major side eye from me because as a developer myself I can tell you that there's absolutely nothing about the skill set of writing quality code that improves your ability to tell stories unless maybe you're telling stories about writing code.
Some possibilities:
1. They are misusing the term developers like a lot of gamers do to refer to anyone that works at a gaming studio. The janitor is a developer. The receptionist is a developer. The HR team are developers.
2. They are misusing the term storytelling to refer to the fact they built games that told stories. However they themselves did not write the narrative or dialogue.
3. You're about to see some amateur hour story telling by people not qualified to tell stories.
I recommend they hire some actual writers to do the storytelling although maybe they're going to delegate that to ChatGPT.
