I'm interested but also dubious about the pie in the sky FTP model of cosmetics only. I'm sure it will start out that way, but players are smart and if you give the option to freeload a game with the only thing you're missing out on is cosmetics then most people are going to just freeload. Pretty soon bills are going to come due and that cosmetics only fund is probably not going to cover them. I guess we'll see. Hope I'm wrong.

I hope the loading screen of the website won't be indicative of the performance of the game.

Yes, it's painful to watch. They may actually kill the IP.

It's like The Division, but unfortunately resetting all progress every few weeks to cater to the MOBA/season pass generation of players that hates permanent progress.

    Hard pass for me.

We get some of this in Fractured Online where we have people who are calling for a server wipe.  They feel like more people would play if the progress of everyone who has been playing for 6 months was erased.

    It is kind of weird.

Personally I'm not against seasonal wipes. I get why that upsets people, but for me end game grid kills a game faster than anything. The best part of a game is the "newbie madness" phase where you're getting levels, new abilities, and new gear every time you turn the corner. Once you get to the point where you have to put in multiple days or weeks just to get some new piece of equipment that gives you a 0.05% boost in total power I'm out. Well, if you never have wipes then your game is ->.<- this much leveling gameplay and ꝏ this much end game grid, so I'm not totally out on the idea of seasonal wipes. We'll have to see how it plays out, and they may change course based on player feedback.

How is doing the same levels all over again a cure for 'grind'?
Nothing wrong with having a preference, but don't pretend it makes sense.

Maybe roll an alt and leave everyone else out of it?

Oh please, you're not talking from a position of logical high ground here. You're more than willing to sign up for an expansion that resets everyone's progress and is functionally a new season. It just comes at a slower cadence than every 6-18 weeks. Potato potato.
