After testing this patch last week, Star Vault has added an updated new player experience, as well as two new task types to Mortal Online 2. These changes join some new character creation options and a brand new mount.

Is it still a toxic game? Surprisingly it has above 1k players online right now which I guess is something. But how many of those players would specifically hunt a non-fair skinned player just for sport? And if you are reading this and you happen to be fair skinned the answer to the question in your mind is: yes this does happen to players who choose a dark skinned character.

My first few days in Conan Exiles I was hunted by racists and KKK players while they were slinging racial slurs at me in voice chat and reveled in the chase of my character across the map for no reason other than sport. Sure, people turn into assholes in pvp games, but this wasn't simply pvp and they weren't simply assholes.

There's a distinction between fair game pvp play where even assholes can join and live their best lives as dicks, and KKK players who got their jollies off by chasing a dark skinned 3d character on a pixel screen. Just imagine what they would do if certain laws weren't on the books of today in real life... Yeah... Welcome to my world.
