I'm curious how this game is still alive with it's miniscule population. I know I saw what the dev team was before launch, I can't imagine they can pay many people with what this game makes.

Which is exactly why i refuse to play it. When i found that out I took it off my wishlist and never bothered with it. How do you do a fantasy mmo but exclude all magic/magic classes? You just alienated more than half of the player base right off the bat.

Magic equals more graphics to code, my guess is it's down to that.

The wife and I found the whole combat sluggish and tedious. Suffered from long cool downs for skills and constantly waiting for your stamina/energy (or whatever is called) to recharge just made the whole thing a chore.

There is technically no "magic" in LoTRO either. In Middle Earth, very few people could do any kind of magic, and it wasn't supposed to be in the game. They didn't want 1,000 Gandalfs running around.

They should have stuck with their guns if you’re referring to Lord of the Rings Online.
