Looks interesting, fresh setting (well more rarely used setting over here), great graphics. We shall have to see what the reviews make of it.

"Overall, I’m optimistic about Black Myth Wukong even if I have hesitations due to controversies surrounding the environment at Game Science. "

There is no controversy. It was manufactured when they refused to pay Sweet Baby Inc.'s extortion fee to do "consulting work". I know as an LOLGamesJournalist you feel like you have to stick up for each others work, but do some thinking of your own and stop repeating the lies of your colleagues.

Is a man not entitled to the herp of his derp?

Remember, I live in a world where juggalos and yugioh players are real things.

If there is any sort of "controversy" journalists (not just gaming ones) feel duty bound to mention it no matter how long ago it is. Controversy is now like any other form of newsworthy "buzz" just keep mentioning for extra clicks.

Controversy has taken over from investigation as a priority for journalists. For all we know this studio may have done what they were accused of, but we will likely never know because no gaming journalist will investigate this. What they will do is what all journalists now do, quote people from both sides and let the issue roll on.

To investigate and find the studio in the right or wrong and saying that could lead to being sued. While just reporting what others has said is highly unlikely to result in legal action.
