Throne & Liberty finally has a Western release date, coming to PC and consoles on September 17th. To whet player's appetites, the developers are hosting a cross-platform open beta starting on July 18th.

    I played during cbt, I think this game will appeal to folks bored with BDO, it's not gonna keep Wow or FFXIV players interested for long. In the end it will end up like Lost Ark, with maybe 30k players.

    First the closed beta, then we dont hear anything about TL in 2 months+. All of a sudden Amazon will just randomly announce the release.

    It's pretty funny how low key this news was, like the timing of it, surely you could have squeezed it in at someones conference.

    I really feel like the news was rushed due to the massive fumble AGS had with NW console release press conference. They had to do something to change de narrative make People move on. It is quite the big news/event there is no world where AGS organise a hole stream to tell us they are porting NW to console in october and just low key release the news about T&L when it have an even earlier release date.

    They would of been better hyping TL than all that NW bullshit, they would have reached a wider audiance and the news would of been more positive and maybe would of been sufficent go digest the NW news or see it in a better "light".

    Well, alright.

    I mean it is September, there probably won't be that much going on by then, a lot of the initial FFXIV Dawntrail patch 7.0 launch content will likely be experienced by that point... probably.
