Well at least they don't promise to be in early access for a year or two with a chance to drop the project entirely. For those into cozy games this might be for them. Just not for me.
I'm not interested in "cozy" for an MMO. Or rather I like cozy, but nothing about an MMO is cozy to me. They're highly demanding of time and money, both of which fly in the face of what makes the features of a "cozy" game appealing.
The hallmarks of cozy are low pressure, low penalties, and player agency and flexibility. This is why Palia failed in my opinion. It isn't cozy, it's cute, but a lot in the gaming industry don't seem to get that.
