Console playyer here. I've always loved MMOs but never played. I always use to enjoy watching my nephew play. He's hardcore atleast to me. RPGs are my favorite. I would love to see more PC games come to console specifically xbox. To me its a no brainer because its parent company. I would like to know what PC players think if more pc games came to console. Btw I purchase all my games not looking for some free to play handout. I would love to here what you guys think. Im so excited New world is coming to console. I cant bring myself to game until its release.

Due to the difference in control schemes I don't think MMORPGs designed for the PC  crossover well to consoles and vice versa.

New World will pull it off because it was originally designed with simplistic combat systems oriented around what weapon is being wielded and a host of other limitations because of that lack of a properly mapped keyboard.

I recall playing ESO and talking to those who had migrated from the PS version to PC and it was like night and day different and all agreed the PC was a far superior playing experience due to things like mod support which New World doesn't have.

Still, just like in New World, ESO is hampered by a similar action oriented controller designed combat scheme which makes ita negative experience from a PC player's viewpoint.

Even now I've been playing 7D2D on PC for over a year and a new console version just came out in July and I feel those folks got a terrible deal as they suffer from multiple limitations having to use a controller, having no access to log files, no admin mode and no support for player made mods.

I mean while one can play 7D2D on a console not sure why players would bother to put up with the limitations but apparently they are quite willing to do so.

I watched a video on youtbue by a player that has played 7D2D on PC for years trying out the console version....He said it was like playing ina much earlier alpha, like A16 or so, and even though he had praise for the console version he said it was nowhere near the caliber of the PC version.

It's a sign of the times....People trade quality for convenience all the time....Like playing video games on a 3x5 screen on a smart phone....We have become lazy.

Playing a game on a  phone isn't convenience it's torture.
