Brutal subject, we lost two players and an entire thread on it.

I think there were at least 3 banned @Kyleran at least going by the Star Wars Outlaws thread. No idea what happened.

Too bad about Blue Protocol i know one of my brothers in law, oddly enough a hardcore Tekken fan, were excited for this game and its launch in North America.

I’ve seen some seriously bad titles get their act together, turn the corner over time, and then put out years of live service for their players. (No Mans Sky, FFXIV)

This game had the framework. I know what it lacked, I did play it. It just makes me think that if other titles could pull it off then they at least had a chance to do so. Even thought they were silent for a while, doesn’t it feel like they’re just giving up because they gave no real explanation. They’re just like oops, we tried everything guys sorry we’re shutting it down.

Also, when will these Japanese and Korean companies learn that when they only pursue one market, such as their own country and the game isn’t received well. That they’re pretty much screwed because it’s only income from one market. I disagree with others, I believe that if the game just went Global from the beginning, it just might have been able to stay afloat and make a comeback due to the sustainable revenue. Easier said than done because of localization but not impossible.

But nope, Japan hates the game so shut it all down because you did what’s happened a bunch of times before but didn’t learn. (Webzen’s game Huxley: The Dystopia anyone?, p.s. that’s an oldie that had a similar outcome back in 2010).

I’m super disgruntled with Bandai Namco about this one, it seems Amazon was still under the impression it was on its way to some extent.
