PvP was possibly my biggest disappointment with ESO given that it was almost a direct copy/paste of the DAoC pvp setup which was my favorite PvP game ever. I'll be interested to see what they have planned and hopefully find out how they are going to address the major issues with the Cyrodiil pvp area. I mean are they scrapping it entirely and going a different direction or are they actually going to sit down and fix the thing which they have been unable to fix for 10 years now? I guess we'll find out.

I agree. I loved DAOC PVP but ESO never captured that magic. ESO feels more like a population based zerg thats over in no-time. DAOC seemed more permanent or at least you were fighting for something that would not change hands in a few hours. I really cannot put my finger on what makes ESO different but it seems like it should have captured (pun intended) more of the DAOC feel.

PvP has been mismanaged and neglected for so long by these incompetent, insulting jerkoffs I stopped playing 2 expansions ago along with a lot of Cyrodiil only players. I am interested in seeing what these changes are. I am skeptical.
