    I watched the stream. They also announced a new non-binary character. That's awesome!

    They have a uniquely enjoyable 3 faction system, that could have recreated, or improved on what DAOC was all about. Somehow, they find ways to minimize it, and not get the most out of what they have. Maybe I missed it, but I never saw people asking for only two teams in PvP.

    It's funny, I was starting to get the urge to come back, give the new expansion a shot, and spend a couple of months in game. Seeing the update, it's more and more of what I don't want in a game, or a developer group.

    I believe this is just for the area small person fights. RvRvR is still the focus of the actual PvP campaign

    I do not believe that the area battlegrounds are currently split by alliance. Just 4x4x4 random people.

    I played it for around 500 hours and the combat system put a minigame fatigue on me and my mouse. I dont know... I can not imagine myself going back to this game bacuse of that. :(

    It's something anyway. I hope it isn't a huge part of the character's story. They've had same sex couples where that wasn't especially emphasized in the quests they were in so there is a good chance it may be an aspect of the character rather than the dominant feature of. If so I'm sure that companion will be a fine addition to the current roster.

    Most people are extremely disappointed with this update, battle pass with "lame rewards" companions in the store, no new zones etc. If the sexuality of an NPC is all that was "awesome" in this update it really shows how far ESO has fallen. They are about to average less than 10k on steam for the 1st time.
