Only thing I'll say about 15 is that it had the most potential.

Eh, if you were in university 4 years ago then I think you just missed the boat on the series and came to it far too late. Context within the time of when these games were released plays a big role in the impact they had, and you missed the impact of the golden-era. The simple reasons you list for 6, 7 and 10 being so well regarded don’t even begin to scratch the surface of what those games brought to the table upon release.
