    Especially when it was originally the Writer's strike, but the actors took over and made it all about themselves.

    Did it fail?

    It's a valid tactics to focus your strike most on areas where you can cause largest disturbance, in this case it would be local productions. We can really only judge how the strike succeeded after they reach some solution in that area.

    Guys there is a anti progress issue here, a new technology comes in, it does not matter if it is AI or whatever and people want to be able to just carry on doing their jobs exactly as they were.

    It reminds me of automation on trains meaning you don't need as many conductors and unions fighting to keep the same number even though the work was not there. I am all for helping staff retrain, not suggestion people are just left in the lurch. Here that is difficult as it might mean a career switch, but most voice actors do not do voice acting full time so there is that to consider as well. Possibly training in their main profession?

    As this is a political post this will be my last one on this thread.
