I got this game for free when it was announced as being a f2p game. I still remember the first alpha when it was a survival game...to the launch..it still hasn't managed to get much better.

At least their solo campaign no longer has a group mandatory quest jammed into it. That is some improvement. It even has swimming now. Wonders never cease.

The latest dev update was not reassuring to me. Major updates like new zones or weapons are simply in the pre-planning stage it sounds like. All the planned stuff seems to be re-hashed or almost like maintenance mode. The new of the console launch has worn off and numbers are dropping again. If Amazon is content, thats great but something tells me things are far from good in New World.

It does not have to be free, but they priced it $60 in PS store. I am not paying 60$ for 3 year old game. If it was like $20... maybe.
