I really want this game to be good, but I don't want to buy it to find out. I know beta was pretty rocky.

Pax Dei looks (visually) nice, but there is nothing to DO. It's like a less complete Conan Exiles survival, except you don't have to eat or drink. Honestly, I don't even know this game and its like should even be considered MMORPGs. It seems like some studios are using "sandbox" to get out of creating any actual content for their games.

You can build, craft a rather limited number of things, and fight (almost exclusively melee) random things around the map and a small few "dungeons". It just seems extremely shallow.
