hey i was wondering if open beta is for all?

and when does it come ot auto assult becaus i wanna try it befor i buy it!

    They arent going to have an open beta, as far as I know. Basically, you can sign up for beta, but there is no guarantee that you will get in. If you pre order, you are guaranteed to get in at some point. when that some point actually is, no one knows...

    well if you consider Ncsofts other games, the beta is the monty before the release of the game and 3 days before, pre orders get there account activated and retail copy to get a head start

    This is subject to change though, who knows, maybe open beta will be NCsofts christmas present to us.

    NCSoft usually runs a great beta.  While I wasn't a big fan of CoH, their beta was amongst the best organized I've ever seen...and the fact that they take player suggestions to heart and try to work with the community is a big plus.

     

    I just hope that, like Guild Wars, participating in the beta test will prove to be enough time to 'wear out' the game.

    i agree with you Lasitter, i was in the CoH pre-order beta and most of my suggestions made it in to the game, Costume changing at 20, 30, and 40 was my idea about two weeks into CoH.  Auto Assaults open beta, when they are ready will have even more changes made to it but they will also release it on time.

    I heard that there was going to be an open beta a little while before the retail relese, but I think that it will only be for a couple of days to test the server load. During that time, all of the preorders will get in, and i think everyone that signed up will get a crack at it, but I dont think I have heard that for a fact from any of the devs.
