Only took them a week to fix their webserver, so I wonder how long it would take them to fix their game servers? I mean stuff happens, yesterday the site for Turbines MEO forums went down, but they had it back up in less than 12 hours.

Yeah it was another dig Blacsac, but I am just pointing out the obvious here. This company cannot even keep a web server going, yet some think they can manage the server farm necessary for a MMORPG.
As far as me being negative about the game, up until a couple of months ago I was really positive about it. Then all of a sudden I became a bit skeptical, then when they made the official announcement to launch a paid beta I became really negative...things that make you go hmmmm.
tbh, it wasnt down. i couldnt connect till i connected with a proxy server and the port 8080. but, i DO understand what you mean Jack, in the light of the AC2 downfall (which I play) i had some concerns as to where am I going to go now lol.

I feel for you, I am without a MMORPG to play myself right now. I am bored with the stuff the big companies put out and disgusted with the quality of the stuff the smaller ones call games. I think I will quit gaming and start a new hobby...scrapbooking or stained glass maybe LOL Anyway maybe I just should have said they could not keep a web server running correctly.
haha scrapbooking thats funny, but some people have found a way to make some money at it. There isnt much out there. I will probably regret spending the 20 bucks, but I actually pre-ordered The Chronicles this morning. It will probably end up as one of those games that had a lot of potential, but its only 20 bucks and its a lot less that I would end up spending even just on a Friday/Saturday nite, so oh well. hehe, good luck finding a game that suits you. To me finding a new game is like finding a new wallet.
yes as someone else already pointed out for a week or two they had a bad port which made it so about 25 of the community could not log in. I hope they can do better on the game servers, since where I work if 25% of the customers could not log in for over a day there would have been some job openings in our IT department LOL

I tried it today and just got a screen that said "unable to connect to database at this time".
