Horizons is nothing more than another poorly made level based grind fest, if you like crafting play SWG who has the BEST hands down crafting system of all current MMO's out there!

Many people would disagree that SWG has the best crafting system, infact from previous posts most people seem to recommend HZ for crafting over any other game and to the original poster, i think its worth trying anygame no matter what state its in, afterall user ratings are way off and everyone has different opinions. Just try it for yourself you never know you might get hooked for a few weeks/months or maybe even longer.

    Thanks alot

SWG crafting is great, but Horizons is hands down the best crafting in any game ever. And yes, you can craft pretty much all the way to the top without ever so much as getting your sword bloody.

Crafting levels and XP levels for hunting are 2 very differents aspects...EQ2 did the same after.

Considering the box cost me $3, I would ask you...why are you waiting, try for yourself...$3, the game can't be worth less then that, it is worth MORE for sure.

At worst, you will have a decent experience in a month and move to something else like I did. At best you will call this game home.

If crafting appeals to you, by all means give Horizons a look. The crafting system is one of the best you'll find. There are 19 different craft schools for bipeds; dragons only have one but it covers every aspect of dragon crafting, from resource production to creation of finished items. Once lairs are released - currently planned for October - dragons will also have access to the Laircrafting construction school. Crystal shaping has been mentioned as a future craft school for dragons, but no details are available.

While it is possible to be a pure crafter, some adventuring skill is suggested due to the fact that most resource areas are guarded. ::::39::
