Horizons 2

I remember reading something from the folks at AE and they did mention something about "in their next project..."

I hope that next project is Horizons 2.  I liked HZ alot, if they would have just made it with PvP cause it was set up perfect for that.  Other than that, with updated graphics and some voice acting, I think AE would do quite well, with what they have learned from the frist game.

You could almost keep it excatly the same as it is now with a few changes it would be a game I would play.

What are some suggestions if their were HZ 2 coming out?

    Deeper storylines and more quests (hand in hand). PvP IF and ONLY IF it's implemented well (no half-assed WoW imitations, please) and has a POINT and CONSEQUENCE. I'd love to see a reputation factor attached to all NPCs and Players, one that's affected by what you do in the game world and how you do it -- and then folks react to you according to how close your reputation matches theirs (aka, being a wanton killer won't help with city guards but it will help with a guild of assassins, for instance, or someone with a quest that involves such actions). Not a complicated thing, but one that would greatly enhance the ROLEPLAY part of PvP.

    KEEP THE CRAFTING THE SAME. DO NOT SCREW THIS UP. They have the best crafting out there, don't go and ruin it like Turbine did with their "sequel to, but not anything like, AC1" in AC2.

    What's Valhyre got to do with Horizons ? About the only relation between Valhyre and Horizons is an ex-moderator of Tazoon.com's forums. I've been following Valhyre for a while and it's most definitely not Horizons !

    That was a joke, has playing HZ caused you to lose your sense of humor?

    Didn't see a wink or a grin so had no indication that it was a joke. That's not to say that I didn't find it funny that people are jumping to conclusions and spreading rumours...

    Horizons hasn't dulled my sense of humour, but considering I used to play alongside you in the old days I did find it slightly distressing that someone I considered to have a good deal of commonsense and an open mind was posting unsubstantiated claims. At least you've pointed out it was just a joke, my concerns have been dispelled ::::19::
