Realm Fighter (MMORPG)

Realm FIghter is a 3D massive multi player game (MMORPG) with monsters to kill,
quests to complete, and treasures to hoard. Players control their own
characters that improve and become more and more powerful, intelligent,
charismatic, and interesting as they play. In this game, not everything is
pre-determined, players make and shape the game.
Realm Fighter will have many
original features that distinguish it from other MMORPGs, including pets,
player housing, guilds, an exceptional moderation system, and much much more!


The BETA is due to be released around the 10th of September, you can sign up for the BETA by registering on the Realm Fighter forums.

But the game has NOTHING unique, you can cut & paste the words from features page to just about any mmorpg & you wont noitce a difference.
If there somehow something that is unique and not a repeat, post what it is. Just posting the link over & over & ignoring whats bad about the game will get you nowhere.

Edit: There are no screenshots only renders, do you have a game engine? Actually scratch that question since you are looking for a entire team of programmers.

thx dark, and thats very rude of you to have these preconcieved notions about a game you have never played, i was simply offering information to gamers to be a part of the development of a great game...ultima online didn't start as game of the year, and what would have happend to the mmorpg business if UO was just flamed upon release?

Want to create a new UO? You are very late for that. Also try the "Developers Corner"-subforum since you are looking for team members, but those that have skills wont work for free (they make their own projects).

So again: What is unique about Realm Fighter? (No idea how this is "rude", its a standard interview question).

I can tell you what is unique about it.

It is the only "classical" MMO I see coming out. By classical I mean like the very first class/lvl based MMO. I think it was M59 or EQ. Im not sure though. That is why it is unique. I think ill give it a try when it enter OB...

Hi,

Check out our features list and tell me a game which also has all our features, I bet you cant. If you have found something just pasted from another website please point the text out to me, as I beleive none of that exists. Original features RF has is a pet system, player housing (with furniture) (players can visit other players houses), advanced farming, and much more!

Oh, and yes, we do have a custom-built engine and we do already have a team of programmers.

The release date is set for about a week or so.

contrary to your tiny little preconceived notions about WoW, it is a very unique game...

first off any game that has that many players, and has been on the top of the scoreboards for that long has to have unique features... This is the first mmo release by blizzard so right of the bat it is unique in the way it is presented. The PvP in WoW is unmatched by any other game. Yes Daoc had great pvp gameplay but the combat system and graphics leave a little something to be desired. As far as overall gameplay what other game has a quest system and a easy to play enviornment equal to wow? i'd like to know!  On another note what other game has such an annoying free death? none. This unlike EQ or DaoC or even your homosexual UO has no getting your body from the deepest part of an instance, no xp debt, no xp loss. all you lose is a few coins... not even a significant amount.

all in all WoW has In my oppinion the best quest system, best quest reward system, best skill and spell system, and by far best pvp and overall gameplay experience.

That is not correct. I for one, wasn't going to play WoW at first for the fact being that it had the name warcraft. What made me decide to try it was a few friends from another game saying they thought it was a great game. So i picked it up, and tried it. And i liked it. So to this day, i'm playing WoW. The only problem i really have with the game is the "cartoonish" graphics and the server problems it had a little while ago. You my friend are making assumptions. And you know what they say about someone that assumes things right?

It isn't a topic on WoW, but on Realm Fighter.

The value of a MMORPG is often related to the world (environment, players, atmosphere...) than with its system. Realm Fighter seems promising. I will test it.

Ok, Sorry I was mistaken, I didnt realise SWG had all those features. But STG isn't competition for RF as it is a totally different genre and different people like different things.

Please people don't make unhelpful comments about RF, if you dont like it, dont play it, please dont moan about it.
