FOM about to go crazy

In a couple of weeks FOM is being wiped.
Many new features are being added.
All players are going to have to start brand new.
so if u played before and felt it was unfair being poor, well now everyone is going to be poor.

anyone who is interested in starting playing i suggest u wait untill the wipe, and then get into the game and play.

    I say start now and gwt some experience and learn how the game works. It is slow now because many people have left until the wipe or wont join until after. We dont know when the wipe will be.

    Ok, a little update on the wipe, no one knows when it is going to happen because they didnt do it. Start playing, have fun, and dont forget to check at the factions current status before you make a charactor. MotB are not allowed on Aquatica due to an attempted raid.

    They still have not done the wipe and it is destroying the community, or at least all parts of it that I know of are already gone.

    See, they said they were getting rid of The Asian Coalition and that american corporation faction, but they still haven't done it. The people who were parts of those factions of course, wasted no time in forgetting about the deep political situations they were immersed in and just started ganking everybody, dividing up the faction funds, killing their characters and moving to another faction, what-have-you.. everyone knew teh faction was going to be removed within a week. This was about 4 or 5 months ago, the factions are still there, but as organized groups of people they exist no longer. Newbies still join, have no idea what's going on, and leave the game never knowing what it is.

    To be honest of course it's still in beta, but it's amazing what a community this game had(has?) even during a beta period when all kinds of brats could get accounts. Personally I will not bother until they institute the slew of features they've been promising for SO long.. and finally wipe the servers, so I don't have to kill off my character just to try another faction. ;)

    I'm going to try it again when it gets wiped. I was one of the original 50 beta testers out of the 18,000 people. I got annoyed after a few months due to conflicts within the game over slow development. I think I should come back since I really enjoyed the game and the dev team is good, just a little cautious at times. Which is not a bad thing, but annoying to people who want to see the game developed faster.
