OK, my brother recently bought WoW (World of Warcraft) and I started to play it also. Now, its a pretty good game and all, but I hate how you cant really do anything unless you are a higher level player. Its not so fun unless you are around a level 40 or higher. The beasts in other areas are too stong for me to defeat thus making it harder for me to level up and enjoy. That means that I have to stay in the same town and/or a few surrounding cities to level up quickly, which is boring. Also, I dont see a point in the game besides to level up to 60, and fight creatures. Overall, the game is a little repetitive and can get boring .
Since WoW is not working out for me, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what games are not too repetitive/boring and that has a great community. Which MMORPG do you find the most fun and exciting?

Anyways, you say that you only have played World of Warcraft so far? Didn't you even check the game list on this site? Theres alot more then only World of Warcraft, which have a better community and far more things to do.
Let me list a few options:
If you're a Scifi fan you're choice could be Eve online, Star Wars Galaxies, Anarchy Onine, Matrix Online or City of Heroes.
You want a good fantasy game? Maybe Everquest 2, Dark age of camelot and many more!
Or something from both things like Saga of Ryzom.
Basicly I want you to tell that there is many more to try than just WoW, try some free trials

Lol, ok, i kno the caps was not necessary. Sorry. But another thing I want to say is that I HAVE seen the list and i am still reading through reviews but I thought I should get an opinion from someone who has played many MMORPGS or has found a good that I might be interested in. Anyway, thank you for your susggestions, I will look into those games.
From reading your original post, I very much doubt that EvE will be for you. However they do have a free trial going on so just try it out.
A lot of the more popular MMO work in a similar way to WoW, so trying one of those will mostly lead you into tthe same frustrations to a greater or lesser degree.
I can only suggest trying something like City of Heroes for you. It is easy to get into, and you will get groups and stuff to do easily and quickly, more or less from day one.
Most other MMO will require you to invest time before you get into the fun stuff.
Lol, i looked into City of heros and it looks to easy. I guess I said the wrong thing in my original post. I dont think WoW is too hard but I just think that its no fun in the beginning. I want a game thats fun from the beginnin to the end. Otherwise i kno WoW is not tough because i became a lvl 9 in 2 days. And the part of investing time, i can do that too but I just think that for WoW, it might not be worth it because the fun really begins in the much higher lvl's. If I am wrong, please correct me. I will continue to play it, in hope that it will be more fun.
I also doubt EvE will be for me because as I understand it, thats a scifi game and I am not really looking for scifi at the moment, although it is cool.
Still, thank you for your suggestions.
Ok, well, I have been researching about MMORPG that fit my style and I came across something really important and abvious that I cant believe I forgot to mention. I am working in a Macintosh Computer so I need a game that can/is/or will be ported to Mac. Thank you.
Also, while I am posting, If anyone could tell me what Beta and/or Alpha testing is, i would really appreciate it.
----ITS A TRAP!!!----
Oh i understand. Thanx for telling me what it was. It looks like something I would want to do! I would love to test games b4 they come out, even if they are buggy.
Well, if your looking for instant fun, try DAoC.
You can PvP (RvR as its known in the game) at any level with level specific RvR areas (i.e a level 1-4 area, 5-9 area etc.) so you wont be ganked by some level 48 while your only level 6 trying to get a taste of PvP. Grind is almost nonexistent, if you get bored of that, hit the battlegrounds. If you don't want to hit the battlegrounds but your still sick of grinding, hit the catacombs. Quick, easy xp. Community is nice, graphics are nice. Its not EQ2 quality but its still good. Theres a 14 day trial at http://www.camelotherald.com. After that download, search around for the New Frontiers download (which is free) and download that (Theres allot of downloading required, so i suggest you have a book handy). Then after that, Pick up Catacombs at a store (Not free, and not mandatory, but its really cool). After the sheer boredom of downloading and buying, THEN you can play.
Have fun

Yea, just yesterday I tried to download a free trisl for Guild Wars and it didn't work because I am working on a Mac. I need to find free trials that work on a map. If anyone can help me with that, then that would be great! Anyway, thanx for your suggestion, I'll look into DAoC.
