I wanted to know your thoughts on the WTC bombing.
It happened on 9/11, was it a coincedence that America's emergency number is 911??
Just wondering, and I hope this doesn't piss people off.

The attack was commited by some very religious people. They always choose symbolic dates/numbers and so on. Religion is about symbolic. The attack in Madrid was 911 days after 9/11.

By thinking it was all planned to happen that way is giving them way to much credit for murderous deeds.
I think the only one who would have been smart enough is the upper levels like Osama, who was an engineer,...otherwise I think the grunts were just *ooo lets go kill people and get rewarded in the after life*

The 9/11 attacks where very well planned. I mean you just don't walk into a airport hijack 3 planes after 30 min of brainstorming.
I'm talking more about the 911 thing.
Of course they were planned and by very smart men, however the men that carried it out obviously were not those men.

That the men who did where stupid doesn't mean that 9/11 / 911 wasn't planned.
Some odd coincidences that I remember (not saying they were planned this way or fate or anything; that's what a coincidence is):
A "9" is the closest number to an airplane (looks like an airplane sideways), and the "11" symbolizes the two towers.
The terrorists "started" the attack (set out to the airport, were at the airport, whatever) at 9:11am. The actual events happened around 9:45ish.
Nostradamus spoke of great iron birds that will/would come from the sky to destroy the works of man.
If you typed in the flight number (don't remember what it was off-hand, but I remember I tried this and it worked... really freaky) into MS Word and change it to wingdings font (the font that's just a bunch of symbols), it would come up with two airplanes, two buildings, a star of david, and a skull (might have been only one plane, and the skull may have came before the star of david, I don't remember specifically). Very freaky.
Just some random things that I could think of off the top of my head... of all of those, the MS Word thing was the wierdest. It was obviously just a coincidence, but definately wierd.

What I find is interesting is that the attacks in Mardrid happened 911 days after 9/11. They where planned by the same people so the nr. 911 clearly had a symbolic value for them.
Professor Hubert Farnsworth - That question is less stupid but, you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
I garauntee if the attacks had happened on a different date other than 9/11, people still would come up with all of these conspiracy theories relating to the date of the attack, the dollar bill, etc.
Any disaster has people coming up with these crazy theories. The horrible earthquake in the Indian Ocean 9 months ago wasnt an earthquake at all, but an atomic bomb detonated by the U.S. to cause destruction. Hurricane Katrina wasnt natures work, but the work of a Japanese gang who planted weather machines under the ocean to create a huge hurricane. It goes on and on.

I heard that some christians in USA said Katrina was the work of God as a punishment to the US for supporting Isreal in pulling their people out of Gaza, and as a punishment for Mardi Gras that is arranged in New Orleans.
Well those Christians are fools. Im a Christian and I dont believe any of that. I dont believe that God would possibly kill thousands and ruin the lives of hundreds of thousands simply because people where forced to move out of Gaza and every year there is a big get drunk party. That seems a little over kill to me.

But assuming that the suicide bombers are stupid is wrong they are partly very intelligent people that just have the wrong view on life and death. Brainwashed.

And they are not alone either, the guys on the other side arnt much better in terms of their ability to seperate fantasy and reality and act on the correct one.
