Does anyone here play on the merlin server? I just started and have a level 3.

All my characters are on a variety of servers...
(3 level 50's, 1 level 42, 4 level 35 on Percival Albion)
(2 level 50's, 6 level 35 on Guinevere Midgard)
(4 level 35's on Nimue Hibernia)
But I havent played for a long time, I suppose I could make a character on merlin and then use the autolevel thing to jump him to level 20 straight away....but I dont think I can really be bothered hehe...anyway...good luck with your guild all the same !!

hehee...luckily no.
When you have a level 50 character, you can use a command /level , it allows you to make new characters who automatically are level 20..or in some cases..level 30.
Its kind of a reward for those people who have a level 50, to save them the trouble of having to do the first 20 or 30 levels again

Oh its not too bad really Rathma...I went from 49-50 with my first level 50 in just 2 nights...was very quick, just tag along on HL raids in Darkness Falls and watch the little blue bubs fill up
That was back before the days of shrouded isles...with SI, there are even faster ways to level.
In fact, really once I hit level 42, and started tagging along on the big raids, I think it only took maybe 1 week to go from 42-50. Admittedly it was a bit dull, just running along with the raid, not even doing anything, just watching everyone run from one beast to the next...but it did get the last few levels very quick.
Unfortunately though...it was when I reached 50, that I found out how rubbish "true" RvR was compared to the battlegrounds....so I decided to just go to the battlegrounds from then on...(hence all my level 35s hehehe)
Best time ever in Daoc was in the very early days...you see originally Mythic said that RvR was for level 15 and above...so in the first few weeks of the game, as soon as everyone reached level 15 they would head out into the frontiers to level their characters...it was great back then seeing all the people hunting beasties in the frontiers. (you see back in these days there were no battlegrounds at all..they were put in later on)
Course these days...you hardly ever see anybody actually hunting in the frontiers, as everyone tends to level their characters in the safer areas instead.
took me 2 days of leveling in av city to get a lvl (42-45) but sometimes it was in only 1 day, but that was only on xan raids..gosh those are *fun*
also, i figured real rvr sucked. so i kept remaking chars and levelin em to 35 just to do bg3, as the previous poster said
i have a character in albion/merlin. not playin atm though, when toa comes around i might play again though.

no its not a cheat its when your Toon hits level 4,8,12,16 if you don't train in something you will train 1 in a slash or trust what ever you specialize in.

hey sorry it took me so long to get back to you. tell me what time your online and the lvl you are so i can PL your char. I am usually binded at PKB i have a low lvl PLer and a High lvl PLer just shoot me the info!!!
