    I don't normally listen to just particular songs. I have to enjoy the majority of a band's entire CD before I will consider them worth listening to.  A band with only one good song is not worth my time.

    Now listening to Cradle of Filth since scara mentions them so much lol...

    They sound a lot like Morbid Angel or Deicide....death metal...bleh.

    I dunno they have been around since 93

    Their newer music is alot better sounding

     

    Just like the slow bits in the middle :)

    They're not bad really...I'm just not into death metal as much as I was in my high school days =).

    Listening to the Nyphetamine ablum--it's listed as a 2004 release.

    Cradle of Filth's music is good, but the lead singer's voice is like fingernails down a chalkboard to me.image

    That's how most people feel

    They say the music is good but the vocals suck!

     

    I love the vocals on CD but live : They suck!

     

    Best albums tho are:

    Cruelty and the beast

    Midian

    Nymphetamine

     

    Damnation had soem good stuff but it felt really weird.

    I dunno, give me these bands any day over glam goth metal, but that's just personal opinion of course.

    Any band can scream. Any band can sing. But when one band actually does both well, sign me up!

    This is on so many forums.

    Right now I'm listening to Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband.

    What do I usually download?  Techno music to the fullest.

    I do enjoy everything from classical, techno, country, some rock, some rap, some hip hop, some metal, etc...

    If it has loud annoying guitairs I usually don't like it.  I'm more of a laidback, peaceful music type of person. image

    LOL funny you should say that..I decided to fire up an alblum by Killswitch Engaged (one of the groups you mentioned)..dude, their singer is also one screamin' mo fo =)

    Currently listening to the new Children of Bodom album. Was a bit of a "hit and miss". Some songs were good, some not. I miss Follow the Reaper days ::::21::.

    Give Boom Boom Satellites a listen. It's probably the only techno that i can stand.

    I love bands that rip/scream AND sing. Neither Howard or Jesse's scream bothers me. It's just some metal bands have singers with horrible sounding voices and to me, Cradle of Filth is one of them.
