New game coming out from Softnyx.net Called Rakion...the graphics and gameplay are the best of any MMO ive seen yet and believe me ive played about 30 (most of em sucked) So check out the gameplay movies at softnyx.net and click on the Rakion add.

The graphics are ok but  i thought the gameplay would be like Dynasty Wariors, but I was wrong.

The kinda slow movement took me right out of it, but over all it's pretty fun. It tries to mimic Phanasty Star Online with Swords and knights n stuff...but it hasn't pulled of too me

Its not so much an MMORPG but rather a section based FPS. You basically get a character and have small games of 12ish players. The movement and attacks are all based like that of a FPS. You get income by winning rounds, and killing people.

I really didnt like it for one reason... they had massive Networking code problems, which drove lag to new heights. Because of this, they had a ping cap of 300 on all games, so getting into a game was a huge pain in the butt.

Hopefully by release they will fix this, because its a pretty fun game, for just a casual game. I would definately play this in my spare time. Judging by Softnyx's way to do business, it will be a free game,and you can pay real money for items if you like (atleast thats what they did with gunbound) so hopefully it will go somewhat like that.

And yeah... nowhere near being "new" its wayyy old news. beta came and went a while ago. Open beta soon hopefully.
