Has anyone got suggestions for Blackbird fitting for solo pvp (especially in 0.1-0.4 space)?

A black bird is mainly for Electronic warfare

Altho now with more ships out i'm not sure where it would fit in (havn't used one since release like)

imagea blackbird is mainly a support ship ,in caldari navy  the caracal is best for pvp (in cruiser class)

but i strongly recommed a ferox or a scorpion to pvp (caldari models) but overall nothing can beat a geddon with mega puls laser on (a armegeddon is a lvl 1 battleship from amarr).lol but of course when you got the skills get a eagle or a zealotimage

Well, I wouldn't recommend using a BB for solo pvp since even with crazy skills, the maximum damage output you get is quite low, a decent setup would be something like :

Highs : 2x assault launchers, 2x medium guns (can use hybrid, laser or projectile depending on skills you have)

Mids : 1x 20km scrambler, 1x web, 4x jammers (if you have REALLY good skills, you might get away using 4x multispecs but, I would go with 2x of 2 different race to safe in cap and still have relatively good chance of jamming your target.

Lows : 2x Capacitor Power Relays (CPR) , your really gonna need the cap to keep your target jammed for a long period of time since it won't die fast unless it's really small.

This setup isn't really good versus anything in particular but then again, it's not weak against anything either. If your looking on just getting ganks, I would for for the same setup but with 2x sensor boosters and 2x multispecs and go for smaller targets (2x jammers won't be enough to jam bigger targets for long periods of time and will get you killed).

If you do come by some more ISK, scorpions are the best solo BS's in the game and have alot more options than little bb's. They also have enough damage output to take out larger targets such as hac's and other bs's if setup properly.

Blackbirds are not good solo ships at all.  They are almost univerally used in a support role with another ship.

In fleet battles, 6 jammers are typically used, and the BB target jams the most threatening ship.

In a small group with one or 2 other people, consider fitting a web/scrambler with a few jammers, and let your allies do the real damage.

I personally use an alt with a BB to target paint npc cruisers, while my main character in a Raven (torpedo battleship) blows everything up.
