I beta tested many, many games, but this one beat them all, it's the worst by far.  I can't see how this game could ever go live even in 40 years, burn it, forget it.  Like i said, 10$ this game gets cancelled.

Beta-testing fileplanet exclusives does not mean "many, many". 

Oh, and I'll see your bet and raise you $20 that half the mmo's you see on your left will also be cancelled.

It can start off slow. Also, there is a war in Berlin right now so it gets kjnda boring. Many people arnt playing because they are going to wipe everything for a new engine and some cool new stuff. I think its the best MMO Ive played so far.

Dont be a moron, Ive been playing for 8 months and its one of my all time favorate games, only gripe is the graphics, which is changing. Play it longer than 10 minutes and try and get someone to help you. Also, going mercenaries is suicide, because your own faction kills you, and you wont make any money. When this game gets the player models upgrade, and the rest of whats planned, this game will be a success.

every game eventually has some type of "hardcore" followers i guess and people that like it. The only question is would there be enough to support this game for a while? Honestly i dont think many would pay 10$ a month for this game.

What exactly new does this game offer though? From the time i played sorry but i did not notice anything groundbreaking in this game. That is a major reason why it does not have a huge following atm. Unless there is some serious adaption to the game as a whole i doubt it will ever make it in competition with other mmorpgs.

I'll make a poll to see where everyone stands.

All devs are active and community is good

I've been playing the game for close to 9 months now. On the first day, I was about to remove it from my PC. But I stuck with it, and have been addicted ever since. Truth is though the game has now changed alot, and I'm seeing a frightening trend. With the introduction of security turrets and their various uses/abuses, the game is becoming care bear land, the worst thing is that most of the playerbase don't want to admit it and see the 'positives' in having them. Before you say it, no I'm not a ganker or other machiavellian type player.

What was so great about the game you ask?

Well full player control, basically player run politics. You could mastermind galactic takeover, economic sabotage, unlimited PvP. The game gives a sense of community, and once you get into it, and find your niche, you can have alot of fun and make lots of friends.

The potential in the game?

Possibly the first MMO with a true storyline and roleplaying. With the introduction of the new features in the next milestone patch, a more involved economy, and more possibilities for economic/political warfare.

Now let me throw a few questions back,

Why do you believe the game will fail and what do you base that on?

What didn't you like about the game, specifically, and how can you see it improved if at all?

I been playing the game since start of open beta ( 8 months or something ago )
I been playing multiple mmorpgs and following them

This game aspect just complety changed.
Whoever gonna tell me, this aint true
Then your 100% retarded

First this game was completly player run
Now its more in hands of Community Management, more events upcoming

How its devlopped more then any other.
I havent seen many games, having within beta;

1. A engine upgrade
2. Making maps bigger
3. Re-creating all character models
4. Actually rebuilding a whole game while everyone can play it

Trust me, you are NOT gonna cancel a game
If you spend $10.000 on doing a Engine Upgrade

How I know there going to be enough customers.
Basically the payment methods are easier as in most of the games.
You can pay by using mobile phone. Like send a sms for 10 euros or so and month play
You dont have to buy it in the shop or pay $50 at the start and then get a ''free'' trial *cough* free trial of 50 dollar

Nah and I know lot of people in the community, and they are still playing it. And said they gonna buy it for sure.
And seen the advertisements they going to bring when p2p
They dont focus on getting players yet, but at fixing it

I havent seen any game, where you are so close to proffesional devlopers. Or can contact them so easily and get fast response

This game is an unique and good.
But well see after release, right ?

well i am glad to here they are finally fixing it up. Yes in a beta that what they do change any problems the game has. FoM had a lot of problems which will take them a long time to fix everything but from what i can tell still needs a massive revamp. You can say that it has a huge community now but just to let you know every free open beta does and they do lose a large amount of players  when the beta ends. Honestly i do like their storyline which is one reason i played their game for a while but the thing is they are not the first to make a storyline like that, there are many others maybe you haven't seen or i haven't seen but i am pretty sure there are other MMO's with a storyline.

I tell you this

A few months back I was playing this with a good friend who I met into the game
We started to run a bar with few people. And it had a desk upstairs with basic written names on it.
Our bar had pretty much success and devlopers were willing to actually. Rewrite the names on desks, into the owners of it. ( In what game you have seen a devloper do that )

Then few days later the lead story gm, wanted to start an event which was part of official storyline in there.
This was cancelled due a bug came up with their patch before which made missions unable to do.

This all didnt happen, because the one who started it, stopped play. And we didnt continue it.

This is just one of the examples

Do the weapons work like a good FPS or are they pieces of innacurate dog doo like Planetside. I would love to see a good FPS game taken to a MMORPG level of players but they have to play like a FPS. I played this game many months ago and it could be good. Have to try it again now I guess.

I thought it was a simple enough question and I dont wanna go thru the download and stuff if the weapons are not true FPS accurate weapons like UT or Rainbow six/Rogue Spear. Ill wait till someone can answer. Thanks much anyway.

Well no ofcourse not
Having accurate weapons like UT in a MMO isnt possible
Its not that accurate but you can kill people lol
You have to get used to the system, and you will be able to aim good
You can only find out by trying
I can say its good, then another will prolly say it sucks etc.

Watch for the new Unreal Tournement when it comes out. It will be just that. Thousands of players playing UT all on one server. You can read about it. It depends on who is making the game I guess. Thanks again.

kind of, but its more a political game with fighting attached
-the combat is awfully slow for a fps-

takes many many many bullets to kill anything and people dance around eachother shooting making it take more time
-factor in drugs (Xdope/Biph) Xdope if being used makes ballistics hurt less.. Biph makes your stamina not run out for a hour or so -so you can bunny hop to your hearts content-

armor makes shots depeding on the type of armor (for energy or ballistics) do less dmg as well
-----

and then you have the lag. latency is a huge thing with the game, so lots of shots either regester or they dont.
================================

with the wipe thats coming (when they are ready to do it). they are going to have a finalize patch with better animations/models/actual armor to see on charactrers besides the helmet and other stuff
==we are hoping for a combat upgrade too, cause its just not a fun combat system==

Read it... Also it's called a beta for a reason it is still in testing and development, instead of coming here and stating things like that, go and criticise on the forums. They will be glad to hear it and your ideas on developing it. You see unlike most games (I know there are some) the DPS team are interested in what the players have to say and will always respond and take in ideas and develop them. The point in a beta test is that they do this, and you know what? They do it.

A niche game like face of mankind always has the most devoted kind of fans. This, just like eve online, will live and prosper far beyond cookie cutter mmo's like WoW and EQ2 etc.
