Horizons: US Military Offer

StraddenStradden Managing EditorMember CommonPosts: 6,696

Tulga Games, the makers of Horizons: Empire of Istaria, are doing their part to acknowledge the men and women of the United States military and their families. The offer will allow more than one family member to play the game at the same time, an ability that most accounts do not have.

What is this program about?

Tulga Games recognizes and appreciates the efforts of the men and women who have volunteered to be part of the United States military. We would like to show our support and acknowledge their contribution and sacrifice through a program for military personnel and their families.

Starting September 19th, 2005, all Horizons: Empire of Istaria accounts created using the .mil email address used by military personnel and families will have a second CD key added to the account for free. This allows you to play Horizons with another family member together at the same time on one account. We hope that this will allow military families to play Horizons together, giving them a family-friendly environment where they can meet, talk and play together over the Internet.

Cheers,

I guess this is a good idea, but I don't understand how they can afford to do this if they are still losing money. Bowman admitted this on community site the other day. I also never recieved my coffee mug along with a lot of other people. You would think they would honor the older deals before doing new ones.

On another note I guess Chris T. is no longer owner or with Tulga games. Bowman is back in control of Tulga which of course is really AE2. It would be nice if MMORPG could get an interview with Chris on this subject.

If they had done this for all of us long ago, many not playing now might still be.  I really enjoyed the game from early beta, right up until the realm merger, when they changed too much and I lost interest in the game.  I wanted to continue to work on my plot not relearn where all the resources were.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
