Is there any way to try EQ II

I'm relaly curious about the game because I never played the series, ITs actually one of the only mmorpg series I haven't tried yet and no one I know has it either, is there a way to somehow try it? I need a new mmorpg or I'm goinşg back to wow

    Im afraid the trial doesnt give a true picture of the game itself. You should head over to the eq2 trial of isles forum and read the plethora of negative feedback given by new players that bought the retail game. Or better yet read my post in the mmorpg.com EQ2 forum section.

      I hafta agree with pirg. Go ahead and try the Free trial as you have nothing to lose. Unfortunately the trial of the Isle was alot more fun than the rest of the game. Once I finished the trial and headed to Freeport the game nosedived fast.

    oh lol, and I tohught that was an expansion pack ad :),
    still this leaves ffxi untried, the game I truly hope to try someday
