I never played Lineage II so i cant say if it sucks...(the ony NC game I played was Coh that was just to easy XD and all the missons was the same lol)
I like how its anime base to, its good for some games XD..
Im not saying there the best games..but yea the good games to be for free...

Now, the title of this thread can offend some people. I mean, what if it said American Games Suck, Canada Games Suck, Japan Games Suck. That could offend many.
What would be correct is: Games from Korea Sucks, or Many Games from Korea Suck....but you don't have to take my word for it...
Basically there is very little varied content in these games. There's some sort of mass pvp that is sometimes entertaining but usually pretty bland. Other than that it's a straight grind. Level level level, get gold, buy the next item, and repeat. There are at least a few american/euro/japanese games that have a little bit better in the content department.
Anyway, I would say 90% of MMORPGs "suck" and are just like plain vanilla. I've had it before time and time again. But out of the 10% of MMOs that don't suck none of them originated from Korea. Sorry to say...

Most of those games have other things to offer though. Most, actually I think all theones you listed, have a crafting system, DAoC has RvR, EQ is... well, its hard to describe. Although the main feature of the gameis combat it feels a lot deeper (even though I hate it).
Most MMORPGs are grind fests, which is a shame and which is probably the reason I havent subscribed to one since UO. I hope LoTRO, Hero's Journey and maybe DDO will change that though.

You are correct in saying that in general the American populace doesn't care for the style of play that Korean games bring, as well as the anime style characters, but the people over there sure love it. Its good that you have and opinion and feel free enough to state it, some never get that right. Though, If you just look at the numbers and how much money they've made off of the sales and subscription fees, i'm sure they could give a flyin flip what you think. Thats just my opinion.
Korean games are horrible. Look at Rose Online. Basically there are hundreds of people going around killing monsters ALL day, EVERY day. Its a nice view of peoples lives being wasted away its scary. First off the second you get in the game it feels like you should be on crack because you fight these Jumping Jelly Bean creatures and Jumping Pumpkins. (This isn't even a game targeted for kids) Its just the anime style of lets make the wierdest creatures possible.
You get a total of 3 moves even after 3 days of playing and you kill the same creatures for 10 levels (at EARLY levels you can maybe get 10 in a day). The characters have about 3 different hairstyles and faces. Theres 1 set of armor for each class for every 20 levels for the first 60 levels or so.
Simply put its a horrible game. Its the same as Lineage II. You go around killing the same creatures all day until you fall asleep. I also dont like the look of anime characters. It looks ridiculous cause they always have the stupid crazy hair with usually green,blue,gold,red hair color and big eyes. Its way to predictable.
Not ALL MMOs are good that aren't Korean but just about ALL are better than Korean ones. Theres alot of changes that MMO games are making now but Korean games are sticking to the same old crap because its easy money.

I must admit there is a special place in my heart for Lineage 2. So much I wanted to see, so much I wanted to do and so many ppl I wanted to PK. But none of that will ever happen no matter how much I wish it could, the thought of grinding for THOUSANDS of hours to hit lvl 75 makes me wanna pick up my keyboard, hold it upright and smash it into my forehead until i cleave my face in half.
It's absolutly ridiculous that ppl can sit there and kill the same monster for up to 20 hours over and over again just to gain a lvl. I had to kill so many Ol Mahum from 20 to 25 in AC I had a little red dot shaped as an Ol Mahum in my vision for weeks. Then its the same mobs from 26-30 and 31-35 and so on.
The monottoness(sp?) work that has to be put into these korean MMORPG's far outways the rewards that you get from them. If NCSoftNA came out with a x2 or x3 server I would be back there in a heartbeat but right now it isn't worth the time or the money.
