did anyone else notice that?

its not the first time, all of  a sudden all the posts on the first page are red!

and they havent been posted in for like...weeks!

    Yeah, like what actually dictates if the posts are to be red or not red.  I mean,  I assumed red meant new post (or posts I havne't read yet).  Sometimes even after I've read the thread 3-4 times w/no additional posts the thread is still read.  Is there some time delay or does it just choose to not be read whenever it wants??

    I dont believe that the new post red thingy is updated every time you read a thread.  I believe it is updated on a time basis.  Also it is not wether or not you have read the thread, the red thingy just means that there has been a new post in that thread since that last time you visited the site, depending on the time rotation of course.

    It actually means your cookie was deleted for our site.  We store your last visit in a cookie in your browser and then read that cookie when you come in.  We then highlight the topics with new post since the date in that cookie....
