All games have there own jargon but Runescape (unlike any other game) has created a whole new language !
any experianced Runescape member will agree when i say that Runescape has its own language (mainly used by the more experianced (leet) members! its abit like pig latin as in its based on english but its very different + makes no sence wat so ever :P
e.g.
pl0x= please
i am ze vin= i am good or leet
n00bzorz= well this ones pretty obviouse.. noob
die irl= die in real life.. (u understand wat it means but still)
die pl0x?= die please? why would u put a questionmark at the end of that lol
these are very few (i cant think of any more at the moment)
like i said before.. RS also has its own jargon but this is explaining the language used by many members :P
What are your thoughts on this and if you are an experianced RS member give a few more examples :P

wow. and i thought general web language was complicated.
wb - welcome back
they gave up the thx(thanx, thanks) for ty cuz ty(thank you) was one letter shorter
in a while there is going to be a whole other language for online games.
c? i am living proof of that. i dont use capital letter cuz it takes too long to type. XD
It would be much easier just to teach everyone Esperanto. That way developers would only need one language to make, and William Shatner could star in all MMOs. Its win win
I'm still learning all those stupid little anime smileys people use...

Nothing I see here I haven't seen for years, dating back to MUDs.

RISING DRAGOON ~AION US ONLINE LEGION for Elyos
these shorten words, ive seen in load a games and it didn't start off in one game.
well i guess it could of started from a game people copy that person by playing it into other games... NAH!!!
sometimes people use these in text like above said but i'm guessing the poster only played RS and never had a phone :P j/k
Web language is pretty old IRC and MUDs have a lot to answer for, its recently been changed a bit by texting lingo to, but then thats languages, constantly evolving. I mean these stupid american words like 'bested' instead of 'bettered' and 'tasked' which is a NOUN NOT an ADJECTIVE really wind me up.
There are some really good wikipedia articles on all of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_slang
