Ratings are mis-weighted

I think the current ratings approach is misleading, because it completely under-represents the singlemost important aspect of any game - FUN.

Yes, I recognize that everyone has different opinions on what's important in a game.  But let's face it, all those items end up feeding back into that fun rating.  If you don't enjoy a game with bad graphics, then your fun value will be lower.  If you hate a game with bad sound, then once again, you'll put fun lower.

Right now you end up with the aberrations such as currently exists with Even Online as the highest rated game around.  However if you look at Eve's actual rating, you'll realize that its big winners are in graphics and sound.  Its Fun rating drags below all its other ratings.

Isn't that what games are supposed to be about?  If its not Fun, why would we care that it exists at all?  We're not rating industrial efficiency simulations after all.

Suggestion - weight the overall rating differently.  Get Fun up there and make it count.
