Mythic has just begun development of this game so the starting arn't even available. www.TheWarband.com is a fansite being developed by me and Disstress of this forum, so stay tuned to that for updates.
ooo a fansite. That means it's for me I registered on your forums. The confirmation code gave me some trouble before i figured out it was case sensitive (i think). If it doesn't say something in the directions about that, it should; but i didn't read them
In a recent chat with Mark Jacobs (W.A.R. Dev) over at the www.warhammeralliance.com IRC channel, we briefly touched on this area.
Unfortunently, Mark was unable to share anything to in depth with us. And when questioned about if guild alliances had been discused at Mythic, he simply replied that no, they hadn't addressed that as of yet.
However, if you wanted to question Mark about it yourself, you might want to head over to the Warhammer Alliance Forums and post a topic about it. MBJ (as he's know to us) comes along every once in a while and answers a few more of our questions.
Mark Jacobs has been silent on this issue, but he has stated in IRC chat that alot more info about the game will be released in following months. I believe they are trying to keep a lid on it before E3 in May.
it's a good point i will probably only join one when i get a good idea of how they are going to work and if i play orcs which i probably will i will join a guild for orcs because obviously they wont mix the races in guilds well unelss they are allies...

3rd reply =(
My guess is that it will be very similar to the way guilds worked in DAoC. Hopefully with the same ability to create alliances.
More and more games are coming out with strage rules around creating a guild and maintaining them, I personally don't see the point in it.
But overall I would expect to see alot of the similar features in DAoC and Warhammer, just hopefully more polished and upgraded.

This website is just a community that holds discussions over games, they do not offer games to download.
