Fix the forums pls.

I just wrote a frickin novel only to have forgotten to copy it before clicking post message. Now it hasn't appeared

Awesome forums, but they would be all the more awesome if I never had to copy/paste my messages to make multiple attempts to get them posted. Sometimes it seems much more severe than other times. I dont think its anything to do with the time of day I post either. Sometimes itll be 3am, sometimes 3pm, sometimes 8pm or like todays case 4:40 am.

From what I read Im not the only one having this problem!

Your not the only one. The CTRL + C is still a really good method for not loosing your posts. And I suggest that you only have one mmorpg.com forum window open at all times. I have found out that if I got 2 or more windows open the number of posts dissapearing increases.

it's my educated assumption (derived from regular aim conversations with mods) that when the forums do that, admin is uploading something

happens a lot, I've just gotten used to it

now the logging in thing...that's what gets me everytime, lol

That's good. I kind of learned to get used to always copying my information. It comes natural to me now.

Hmm.. well it could be done like Gmail (Google Mail) does it, what they do is while you are typing an email (in this case, post) it automatically saves what you have typed about every 30 seconds or so. I'm not sure how that would work, it'd take a lot of space, but just an idea.
