Nvidia's g72 ( 0.90nm version of 1.1nm g70 [GF7800] @ $550 ) is due out early 2006. It involves multiple gpu on the same card instead of two seperate gpu in SLI configuration... while competing directly with ATI's R520 (fudo x1800,) series due 5 Oct. 2005.
Imagine getting two GF7800 on the same card (g72,) or mayby effectivly four in SLI configuration ... ? finally +20k 3DMark05 ? for the $480 price of current GF7800.
